As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Program Manager specializing in customer network solutions within the Google Enterprise Network team, you will play a key role in ensuring our networks meet our most important business needs, maintaining and enhancing the security, reliability, scalability, and automation of enterprise networks. You will be responsible for direct internal customer engagement, defining priorities based on strategic Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to guide network product development and lifecycle decisions. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Collaborate with globally distributed teams to manage and drive the development and delivery of enterprise network engineering products, utilizing automation and software programs to provide efficient network services to customers. Develop reports to track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall status; collaborate with stakeholders to manage, track, and control project issues to ensure timely delivery. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful execution of customer engagements. Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for Enterprise product and service enhancements. Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program management. Experience delivering network technologies in enterprise offices, data centers, or ISP/Telco programs. Experience in customer-facing roles within the technology industry (i.e. networking, Cloud, consulting, enterprise). Preferred qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile project management certification, or similar. 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience with physical deployment and troubleshooting of networking infrastructure. Experience in Network Infrastructure, Design and Architecture.
