Corporate Staff Accountant – Real Estate Company Charlotte, NC | Hybrid Schedule | Summer Hours Position Summary The Corporate Staff Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting operations for a growing real estate organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely reconciliations, and strong support for corporate accounting activities. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment. Primary Responsibilities Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and support the corporate month-end and year-end close process Maintain the corporate general ledger and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with GAAP Prepare and analyze corporate financial statements and management reports Account for corporate overhead expenses and inter-company transactions Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash management activities Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for corporate departments Support annual audits, tax filings, and requests from the external audit team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration 1-2+ years of accounting experience; real estate or property management experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar real estate accounting software Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) Why This Role Matters It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys corporate accounting and wants exposure to executive leadership and the overall financial operations of a well-established real estate organization, without being focused on day‑to‑day property accounting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
