Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to formulate customized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Integrate evidence-based techniques to enhance motor function, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to support progress at home.
• Track and Adjust Treatment: Regularly evaluate clinical outcomes and modify strategies to maintain patient momentum.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications favored and welcomed.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary.
