We are looking for a High Volume Recruiter to join our growing staffing team in Houston, TX. This is a fast-paced, hands-on recruiting position focused on identifying, screening, and placing qualified candidates across light industrial, skilled trades, medical, and professional positions.

The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, highly responsive, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment where success is measured by candidate activity, speed, quality of hires, and successful placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and screen a high volume of candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions.
• Manage multiple open positions and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, database searches, networking, and outbound calling.
• Make a high volume of daily candidate calls, texts, and follow-ups.
• Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, work history, skills, availability, and job fit.
• Match candidates with available positions based on experience, qualifications, location, schedule, pay requirements, and client needs.
• Clearly communicate job duties, pay rates, schedules, locations, and employment expectations to candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, background checks, drug screens, and start dates.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified and available candidates.
• Re-engage previous applicants and placed employees for new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, notes, statuses, and activity within the ATS.
• Work closely with Account Managers and clients to understand staffing requirements and hiring priorities.
• Respond quickly to client and candidate needs to minimize time-to-fill.
• Follow up with placed employees to support retention and successful assignments.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly recruiting and placement goals.
• Assist with urgent staffing needs, including same-day and short-notice orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, or high-volume hiring experience preferred.
• Staffing agency experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and candidate contacts every day.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond quickly to staffing needs.
• Comfortable working with recruiting technology, ATS platforms, job boards, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work on-site in Houston, TX.
