We are looking for an Accounting Associate 1 to support day-to-day accounts receivable activities and help maintain accurate financial records for a long-term contract assignment in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. This position is well suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial data in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting systems. The person in this role will assist with billing, account documentation, and routine recordkeeping while following established accounting procedures and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial documentation by entering, organizing, and updating accounting information in ledgers, spreadsheets, and system records.
• Prepare invoices, billing documents, account statements, and related financial paperwork in accordance with established guidelines.
• Review and categorize numerical data to support complete and reliable accounts receivable records.
• Process debit and credit entries within accounting software and verify totals for accuracy and completeness.
• Use computer-based tools and databases to track account activity, support reporting, and maintain current financial information.
• Assist with reconciling account details and identifying discrepancies that require follow-up or correction.
• Support routine financial reporting by compiling data and preparing summary information for internal use.
• Follow company policies and applicable accounting regulations when handling transactions and documentation.• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in accounting or a related business field is preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounts receivable support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software, databases, and computerized financial recordkeeping tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review financial information for accuracy.
• Capable of managing tasks independently and organizing time effectively.
• Basic understanding of accounting procedures, financial documentation, and relevant policies or regulations.
