Fundraising Location: Boston, Massachusetts Schedule: Full Time Work Model: Onsite 2–3 days per week Salary Range: $97,500–$141,500 Must Have (Required Qualifications) Bachelor’s Degree 7+ years of progressive experience in development, corporate partnerships, or sales OR equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to work on-site 2–3 days per week Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations, the Associate Director, Corporate Partnerships plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s corporate partnerships strategy. As a member of the Corporate & Foundation Relations team, this role is responsible for building, managing, and growing a high-impact portfolio of corporate and foundation partners in support of the organization’s mission. In close collaboration with leadership, the Associate Director will design and execute multi-year partnership strategies that drive the successful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate prospects. They will manage a portfolio of funders capable of making six- and seven-figure gifts and grants. This position will develop tailored engagement strategies that align institutional priorities with partner interests while strengthening long-term, multi-dimensional relationships. The Associate Director will also contribute to the overall growth, operations, and sustainability of the corporate fundraising program. This includes partnering closely with internal leaders to deepen existing relationships and identify new partnership opportunities. In addition, the role will manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment that supports innovation and excellence. The successful candidate will articulate the organization’s mission with genuine passion and a clear strategic vision that inspires corporate partners and prospects to invest in key initiatives and supports significant growth in corporate funding. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative approach, and the ability to identify and advance new revenue opportunities. Essential Responsibilities / Duties Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of corporate and foundation partnerships Maintain personal responsibility for a select portfolio of high-priority partners while ensuring team portfolios meet performance targets Lead the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of complex prospects Drive retention and growth of existing partners, including upgrading six- and seven-figure relationships Oversee the full partnership lifecycle from proposal development through fulfillment and stewardship Provide direction and quality assurance for proposals, reports, and engagement materials Develop a deep understanding of organizational priorities to guide partnership strategy Serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders to align funding needs with donor interests Collaborate with prospect development to expand and diversify the donor pipeline Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Raiser’s Edge NXT or equivalent) to track performance and maintain records Establish and refine portfolio metrics to assess and improve performance Participate in annual fundraising and business planning Manage, mentor, and develop staff Partner across teams to develop integrated fundraising strategies Provide regular updates and reports to leadership Perform other duties as assigned Ob Requirements Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree 7+ years of progressive experience in development, corporate partnerships, or sales Or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Experience Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff Proven ability to drive revenue goals and team performance Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) Ability to build and manage relationships with high-capacity donors and stakeholders Proven success in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or related areas Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to manage complex priorities and solve problems effectively Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams Strategic planning skills that align donor interests with organizational priorities Ability to engage and support volunteer leaders in fundraising efforts Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Veterans By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
