About the Role:
The Digital Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online presence and digital engagement of our healthcare organization. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital media campaigns that effectively communicate our mission, services, and health initiatives to diverse audiences. The specialist will collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams to create compelling content that educates and informs patients and the community. By leveraging data analytics and digital trends, the role aims to optimize outreach strategies and improve patient engagement across multiple digital platforms. Ultimately, this position contributes to advancing public health awareness and supporting the organization’s goals through innovative digital media solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing digital media campaigns, preferably within the healthcare or social assistance sector.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content management systems, and digital analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA in digital communications.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital advertising platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
- Familiarity with patient engagement technologies and healthcare information systems.
- Advanced certifications in digital marketing or social media management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital media strategies aligned with organizational goals in healthcare.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for social media channels, websites, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance using analytics tools to optimize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of all digital content.
- Stay current with digital media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve digital outreach efforts.
