Grow with us.The core responsibilities of this role include:To provide guidance and coordination of the non-exempt Inventory Control and Quality Teams daily activities. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records relative to the client service level agreement. Will directly support a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities in support of site compliance of the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory requirements. The Operations Supervisor will assist site Operations Leadership in assessing picking and inventory inaccuracies and recommending corrective action necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadershipMaximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technologyProvide required documentation to customer, customer's financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirementsSupports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or a specific procedure, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and standard operating procedures/work instructions.Provide support on key regulatory, customer and 3rd party audits.Track, monitor, and report quality assurance metrics for the site.Monitor the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance to processes and regulationsBe a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.Partner with IC/QA management to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.Meet regulatory requirements relevant to their operations on a daily basisEnsure customer service and business standards requirements are met dailyEnsure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associatesConduct associate performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plansEnsure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levelsEnsure associates have proper training and access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned tasksPosition: Operations Supervisor - Inventory & Quality Control Shift: First (1st) Shift M-FIn addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:Be part of the world's largest logistics company!
