Salary: $13.25 hourly. Work days: ES - 190 days, MS - 200 days, HS - 200 days. Location: To be announced. Reports to: Principal.

This posting is to recruit for existing vacancies and/or positions that become available at our various schools.

Primary Function: Performs secretarial duties to support the principal and the total operation of the school.

Requirements:

• Educational level: High school diploma/GED
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience or equivalent technical/business certificate; knowledge based testing for the required job skills may be requested
• Physical activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
• Knowledge, skills, & abilities: Written and oral communication; typing; communication; computer

Essential Duties:

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Assists in maintaining filing system to include retaining all necessary records.
• Operates computer and other office machines.
• Assists in preparing reports and correspondence as requested.
• Receives and routes incoming phone calls.
• Opens and routes mail as requested.
• Assists secretary with receptionist duties or acts as receptionist for the school, setting a positive tone for pupils, parents and faculty.
• Utilizes student information system to access information as needed.
• Maintains accurate attendance records using student information system.
• Runs various types of reports using the student information system.
• Assists with backup bookkeeping responsibilities, attendance information, time entry, and pay records as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
