Head of Insurance Growth & Advisor Strategy Eden Prairie, MN $140,000-$150,000 base salary Expected year-one total compensation: approximately $240,000+ Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday-Friday Travel: Approximately 25% About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a fast-growing insurance and wealth management organization in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market that is adding a brand-new leadership role due to rapid growth. This is a strong opportunity for a life insurance wholesaler, annuity wholesaler, BGA leader, or advisor-facing insurance sales professional who wants to step into a bigger leadership seat. This is not a personal production role . The focus is on leading Insurance Specialists, improving sales execution, deepening advisor relationships, and helping the company grow with high-quality advisory firms . What You’ll Be Doing Lead, coach, and manage the Insurance Specialist team. Run weekly pipeline and activity reviews to improve quoting, applications, placement rates, and case quality. Hold team members accountable to business plans, activity standards, and advisor follow-up. Work directly with Financial Advisors and senior firm leaders to deepen relationships. Help grow relationships with RIAs, advisor teams, and financial services firms. Support conferences, advisor meetings, client meetings, roadshows, and ride-alongs. Partner with advanced sales, marketing, and leadership to turn strategy into execution. Improve advisor penetration, case volume, product mix, and overall insurance revenue. What They’re Looking For 5+ years of experience as a life insurance wholesaler, annuity wholesaler, or similar senior insurance sales professional. Experience working directly with Financial Advisors is required. Series 6 and Series 63 licenses are highly preferred Experience working at or with a Broker General Agency (BGA) strongly preferred. Strong technical knowledge of life insurance, annuities, case design, and advisor support . Proven ability to lead, coach, manage, and hold sales professionals accountable . Strong executive presence and communication skills. Comfortable working 100% onsite with leadership and the Insurance Specialist team. Able to travel approximately 25% for conferences, advisor meetings, client meetings, and ride-alongs. High-achiever mindset with strong ownership, low drama, and a team-first approach.
