Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful role as a Physical Therapist with a dynamic full-time contract supporting K-12 students. This on-site opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional seeking a rewarding challenge in a school-based setting near Ponte Vedra, FL. As the primary PT covering a 12-week maternity leave at the start of the new school year, you will collaborate with educators, other therapists, and families to promote students’ physical development, mobility, and access to an equitable learning experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Flexibility to support multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet timely credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge acquisition

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and school programming
• Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation compliant with school and state requirements
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed to ensure comprehensive service

This contract begins August 10, 2026, and ends October 30, 2026, with the possibility of an earlier summer start during the extended school year. You’ll work 37.5 hours each week in an environment that values your expertise and commitment to helping students thrive.
