This position spans 12 weeks to cover a maternity leave and offers the possibility of an earlier start during the district’s extended school year. What you’ll bring:

• Active Florida Department of Health Physical Therapy license (required)
• School-based or pediatric experience (preferred)
• Flexibility to work as an itinerant therapist between several school sites (specific locations to be confirmed)
• Dedication to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to students from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to upholding school district protocols and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams

Your impact:

• Deliver tailored physical therapy services to K-12 students, assess needs, set goals, and support participation in educational activities
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on IEP objectives and students’ functional needs
• Serve as a knowledgeable clinical resource for staff and families, promoting inclusion and access for all students
• Document ongoing progress, maintain compliance with district and state regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
• Travel between assigned campuses (mileage between sites reimbursed where applicable)
