Physical Therapist - School Setting in Ponte Vedra, FL

This full-time role runs approximately 37.5 hours per week and offers the chance to work as an itinerant therapist, likely serving multiple campuses. The initial assignment involves covering a maternity leave for the first twelve weeks of the upcoming school year, with the potential to start even earlier during the Extended School Year (ESY) summer session (dates to be confirmed).


Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Previous school-based PT experience is preferred
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing swiftly (JLA badge-processing may take up to 10 business days)
• Comfortable traveling to assigned sites within the district
• Ready to work fully on-site; remote or VOCO options are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, with specific age groups and caseload details to be finalized before assignment
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with educational teams, parents, and administrators
• Document and track student progress in alignment with school and state regulations
• Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and implementation
• Adapt quickly to serving multiple schools if needed
