What You’ll Do We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Application Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying applications in an AWS environment. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud‑based solutions. Responsibilities Serve as primary technical contact with the client. Gather product requirements from customers. Evaluate, and when necessary, prototype alternatives to determine the most appropriate approach for each solution. Determine how to satisfy these requirements. Where appropriate, define new services to fulfill a project's particular needs. Prepare functional specifications that can be understood by customers and internal development teams. Work with the professional services team members to estimate the work for a given project. At times work directly with the internal client to coordinate new projects, many of which will involve multiple phases. Transition finished projects to the support group. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 15+ years of progressive experience with an emphasis in software systems applications, design, development, and inter‑connectivity. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices. Experience building web applications Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Set Yourself Apart With AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification. Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
