Every service we provide to our community starts with great people. The City of Grandview is seeking a Part-Time Recruiter to help us find, attract, and hire the talent that keeps our organization moving forward.

What You'll Do:

✅ Manage full-cycle recruiting from posting positions through offers and onboarding

✅ Partner with hiring managers to attract top talent across a variety of departments

✅ Represent the City at career fairs and community events

✅ Help improve employee engagement, retention, and employer branding initiatives

✅ Analyze recruitment trends and provide insights to leadership

✅ Contribute to creating an exceptional candidate and employee experience

What We're Looking For:

✔ Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR

✔ Someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities

✔ A relationship-builder who can connect with candidates and hiring managers alike

✔ A self-starter who doesn't wait for opportunities to happen—they create them

✔ Bonus points for experience with HRIS/ATS systems, government recruiting, HR certifications, or Canva/design skills

This is more than a recruiting position. We're looking for someone who enjoys building talent pipelines, creating positive candidate experiences, and partnering with leaders to bring exceptional people into the organization.
