Position Summary The Customer Service Specialist plays a key role in delivering a reliable, proactive, and high-quality customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and managing details with accuracy and care. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, deliveries stay on track, and communication remains clear and professional. This role goes beyond traditional customer service, it is a highly operational position that directly impacts customer satisfaction, on-time delivery performance, and internal efficiency. The right candidate is: Highly organized and process-oriented Detail-focused with strong follow-through Comfortable managing multiple priorities Proactive in identifying issues before they become problems Motivated by teamwork and collaboration Excited to contribute to a positive and supportive workplace environment What You’ll Do Customer & Order Management Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order support Manage customer orders in SAP with a high level of accuracy Monitor order status, inventory availability, and delivery timelines Proactively identify risks that may impact on-time delivery Communicate updates, changes, and solutions clearly to customers and internal teams Maintain accurate documentation and order records Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth order execution Participate in demand and forecasting review discussions Help coordinate a 72-hour ship readiness process to support successful deliveries Build strong internal and external relationships through professionalism and responsiveness Process Improvement & Systems Support Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the customer experience Utilize Microsoft 365 Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong Microsoft Office proficiency Positive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience with CRM systems Experience supporting order management, customer service, logistics, or supply chain operations Why Join Baerlocher?
