Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a full-time, temp-to-hire Call Center Representative opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This fully onsite role is ideal for an experienced call center professional who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced financial services environment.

This position offers paid training, steady weekday hours, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role after the contract period. You will join a professional, team-oriented environment with supportive leadership, clear expectations, and a strong focus on customer care, accuracy, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

- Handle high-volume inbound customer calls in a professional call center environment.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, questions, and service-related concerns.
- Accurately document customer interactions and maintain complete records.
- Navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers.
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently while following quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to deliver a positive customer experience.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $17.50 per hour.
- Job Type: Full-time, contract-to-hire, 6-month assignment.
- Location: Jacksonville, FL, Deerwood Park Blvd area, 32256.
- Work Arrangement: 100% onsite. Remote and hybrid work are not available.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Paid Training: 6 weeks.
- Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Regular Schedule After Training: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Training attendance is critical. Employees cannot miss more than two days of training.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Handle inbound customer service calls in a high-volume call center setting.
- Support account inquiries and resolve customer concerns accurately and professionally.
- Document interactions while navigating multiple systems at the same time.
- Maintain quality, compliance, and customer service standards in a metrics-driven environment.

- Previous call center experience is required.
- 1 to 2 years of customer service or related call center experience preferred based on role level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required.
- Must present professionally during a virtual Microsoft Teams interview.
- Must successfully complete and pass fingerprint background screening.
- Fingerprinting must be completed within the first seven days of employment.
- Must be able to meet background requirements for a financial services environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in financial services, mortgage servicing, banking, loan servicing, or account support.
- Experience handling sensitive customer information in a compliant, professional environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and helpful during challenging customer interactions.
