Fleet Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to take over and operate a fleet management program that was established approximately one year ago. With 150+ assets across the country, this role will focus on maintaining, improving, and executing the systems, processes, and tools that are already in place. You’ll be responsible for running and optimizing a maturing fleet management function to ensure our fleet operates efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This position is in‑office, 38112, Memphis, TN. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and scheduling. Maintain and refine the fleet management policies, procedures, and workflows that have already been developed. Oversee and improve fuel management, including monitoring consumption and refining purchasing strategies. Ensure ongoing compliance with local, state, and federal vehicle regulations. Keep accurate, current records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and asset lifecycle data. Analyze fleet performance metrics and implement improvements to reliability, uptime, and cost control. Work collaboratively with drivers and department heads to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize asset availability. Align fleet operations with broader company goals by partnering with other departments. Use and enhance existing fleet management software, tools, and technologies to improve reporting, visibility, and operational control. Support continuous improvement efforts as the fleet program evolves.
