Senior Accountant
$95k - $105k- Financial Close & Reporting: Facilitate monthly closings by drafting routine and complex journal entries, consolidating legal entities, and reviewing system-generated entries. Prepare monthly internal management reports and assist with quarterly/annual footnote documentation for parent entity reporting.
- Systems & Data Integrity: Utilize and maintain the ERP (SAP) platform to generate financial statements, resolve data variances, and update account hierarchy structures for accurate reporting.
- Account Reconciliation & Technical Accounting: Oversee complex accounting areas—including stock compensation, pensions, and derivatives—while reviewing balance sheet activity for accuracy and preparing external audit schedules.
- Audit, Compliance & Governance: Conduct internal audit control self-assessments, support SOX issue resolution, and compile required government financial filings.
- Technical Research & Standards: Monitor IFRS, FASB, and SEC updates to ensure reporting compliance, performing ad hoc technical research on accounting issues as required by management.
- Analysis & Collaboration: Serve as the primary accounting liaison between plant and corporate teams, drive continuous process improvements, and execute independent ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
