Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg travel assignment in Dundee, KS. Start date 10/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,930-$2,035. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 0645-1915, 3x12 schedule in a short-term acute care setting. This assignment requires Med-Surg nursing experience and is a travel - temporary placement.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult Med-Surg patients within the scope of practice, including assessments, monitoring, and interventions
- Administer prescribed medications, including IV medications when within scope, and monitor for adverse effects
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, document findings in the electronic health record, and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case management for care planning, discharge planning, and patient education
- Respond to changes in patient condition, implement appropriate interventions, and uphold patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- active KS RN license or Compact/multi-state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg hospital experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; weekend rotation (2 weekends per month); on-call 1 shift per month; ability to float within scope of practice
- Education: Graduation from an accreditedRN program and current RN licensure
- Willingness to participate in holiday rotation as needed
