Weatherford has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team in Houston.

The Sourcing Recruiter is a key member of the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (TA-COE) and is responsible for proactively identifying, attracting, and engaging talent across engineering, operations, manufacturing, technical, corporate, and support functions.

Working closely with Senior Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners, the Sourcing Recruiter develops talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. This role combines talent research, market intelligence, talent mapping, networking, and candidate engagement to ensure Weatherford has access to high-quality talent in competitive labor markets.

The Sourcing Recruiter serves as a talent market expert, helping the business understand talent availability, competitor activity, and workforce trends while building strong candidate relationships that support successful hiring outcomes.

Location: St. James Place Office, Houston, TX

Work Arrangement: On-site, Monday through Friday

Reports to: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, Western Hemisphere

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Senior Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners to understand hiring priorities, workforce plans, and critical talent needs.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for engineering, operations, manufacturing, technical, corporate, and leadership positions.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring, critical, and hard-to-fill positions.
• Conduct talent mapping, competitor analysis, and labor market research to identify target companies, talent pools, and candidate communities.
• Leverage multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional associations, networking events, referrals, internal databases, and industry-specific resources.
• Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship-building strategies.
• Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification conversations to assess interest, availability, experience, and alignment with role requirements.
• Present qualified candidate talent slates to Senior Recruiters and provide supporting market intelligence and candidate insights.
• Track and report sourcing activity, pipeline health, candidate engagement metrics, and market intelligence findings.
• Develop and nurture talent communities that support future hiring needs and workforce planning efforts.
• Provide labor market intelligence, competitor insights, compensation trends, and talent availability analyses to support recruitment strategies and business planning.
• Support employer branding initiatives by promoting Weatherford's career opportunities and employee value proposition.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and other Talent Acquisition systems.
• Continuously evaluate sourcing tools, technologies, and industry best practices to improve talent identification and pipeline development.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, executive search, talent intelligence, or a related talent acquisition role.
• Demonstrated success sourcing technical, engineering, operations, manufacturing, corporate, or leadership talent.
• Strong research, talent mapping, and market intelligence capabilities.
• Experience engaging passive candidates and building long-term talent pipelines.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms and tools.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience Preferred:

• Experience sourcing talent within the oilfield services, energy, manufacturing, industrial, or engineering sectors.
• Experience using Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) or a comparable enterprise applicant tracking system.
• Experience supporting global or multi-regional recruitment initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence platforms, and candidate relationship management tools.
• Experience developing talent mapping reports and labor market analyses.
