Material Handler II

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Pick order properly and move to staging area. Record all transaction with the RF gun to proper location. Properly package all orders for secure transportation to final location. Unload and load any transfer trailers and supplier shipments. Assist in Pick and Pack area to pull orders whenever needed. Keeps warehouse and storage areas neat and clean, including compactor and dumpster area. Maintains proper inventory by using correct scanning procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Education/Experience: 1-3 years’ forklift experience 1-3 years’ experience in loading and unloading trucks Experience in a fast pace manufacturing/shipping environment Ability to operate computers and radio frequency bar code equipment Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have good communication skills Must be team oriented and also be able to work independently Knowledge in the use of scanning guns Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed Must be flexible on working hours during heavy business days Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
