Undergraduate Art Therapy Program Director (Assistant orAssociate Professor, Rank Commensurate with experience) Reporting Relationships Position Reports to: Department Chair (TBD) Basic Function The Undergraduate Art Therapy Program Director, Assistant orAssociate Professor will teach six courses per academic year (thisreflects one course release for Directorship responsibilities).Courses include the catalog of undergraduate art therapy courses,including administration and instruction of undergraduate studentpracticum, which serves as undergraduate students’ capstone andholds the undergraduate art therapy program outcomes. Essential Functions Faculty member may teach within the graduate program, asinvited by the Graduate Program Director and as needed for courseload. Faculty member may also teach within the art or psychologydepartments as invited by Chairs and as needed for courseload. The Assistant Professor, Undergraduate Program Director willserve as primary undergraduate art therapy major advisor within thedepartment and as an interdisciplinary, integrated major, willclosely coordinate curricular program needs with the Art andPsychology Departments as needed. Annual undergraduate art therapy program and assessment reportswill also be completed by this Director.
