Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will involve a range of therapeutic tasks including:

• Conducting assessments to identify the unique needs of couples and families.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that address mental health challenges, relationship dynamics, and family issues.

• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, and individual sessions for each partner as necessary.

• Providing intervention for issues such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief and loss, and adjustment to separation and divorce.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client progress and achieve treatment goals.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Genesis Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, providing therapy in a clinical or community health setting.

We prefer candidates who have experience utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities, particularly those that cater to family systems and relationship dynamics. Compensation and Benefits\n
