$20,000 sign on bonus eligible with a 2-year commitment

Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families.

Practices to the fullest extent of employee license in
\n accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Director, functions as a member of
\n the Float Team to implement the patient's plan of care.

Provides population specific care and meets the
\n developmental needs of populations served.

\n

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
\n
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
\n
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
\n
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
\n
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
\n
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
\n

What we are looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license.

\n

Bachelors degree preferred but not required

\n

Additional requirements include:

\n

  ·         Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

\n
• \n

  ·         ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

\n
• \n

  Handle with Care preferred

\n
• \n

  ·         One (1) to Two (2) years of beside RN experience required

\n
• \n

  Two (2) to Four (4) years of Critical Care experience preferred

\n

Tier 1 Float to: Nephrology/Oncology (NEON); 4N; Neuro Progressive Care Unit; Nursing Rehab; Telemetry.
\n Progressive Stepdown Unit (IMCU); Surgical Unit
\n Certifications Required for Tier I:
\n NEON: BLS required
\n 4 North: BLS required
\n NPCU: BLS required. ACLS and NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.
\n Rehab: BLS required
\n Telemetry: BLS required. ACLS within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.
\n IMCU: BLS required. ACLS and NIH within 3 months of hire or transfer into the position.
\n Surgical: BLS required.

\n

Tier I: $54.81

\n

\n Tier 2: Meet all Tier 1 criteria and be competent to float to two (2) of the specialty areas: Cardiovascular Unit
\n (CVICU); Critical Care Unit (CCU); Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU); Emergency Department (ED);
\n Labor/Delivery/Recovery (L&D)
\n Certifications Required for Tier 2:
\n CVICU: BLS required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.

\n

CCU: BLC required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
\n NICU: BLC required. ACLS, NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into the position.
\n ED: BLS required. ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIH and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer into
\n the position., ASLS and TNCC preferred.
\n LDRP: BLS required. ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring and Handle with Care within three months of hire or transfer
\n into the position.
\n Nursery: BLS required. NRP within three months of hire or transfer into the position.

\n

Tier II: $60.90

\n

Minimum Work Experience

\n

At least two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse required (unless previous LPN experience).

\n
