In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help to deter security‑related incidents while using teamwork and integrity to support daily operations. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday and Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identity and/or authorization, and document visitor activity in accordance with location policies. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access, identify unusual activity, and observe conditions that may require follow‑up. Support a respectful and professional environment by communicating clearly with residents and staff, assisting with directions and questions, and following post orders for shelter operations. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
