Advanced Licensed Massage Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Licensed Massage Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region. This role focuses on enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized therapeutic massage treatments aligned with individual care plans.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional health to tailor treatment approaches.
- Develop and implement customized massage therapy plans addressing specific patient needs and conditions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and complementary wellness practices.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any contraindications.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by following all health and sterilization protocols.
- Manage scheduling efficiently, respond promptly to communications, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Valid and current massage therapy license or certification as per state regulations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
- Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a massage therapy setting, preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
This position offers part-time hours, approximately 18 per week, with varied days and evenings. The ideal candidate is flexible, resourceful, and dedicated to providing exceptional care in a supportive environment.
