Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Hours/Week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Per diem/Contract

Licenses/Certifications: Ohio State RN license required; BLS and ACLS certifications required

Experience: 2+ years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred

Pay rate: $59.18/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality care to cardiac ICU patients, including those on complex monitoring devices such as Swan-Ganz catheters and balloon pumps
• Administer medications and perform procedures including IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and conscious sedation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions closely, including vital signs and hemodynamic data, adjusting treatments as necessary
• Document patient care accurately within EPIC electronic health record system
• Adapt to unit needs by floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity as required
• Support patient recovery through compassionate and evidence-based care

What You Need

• Ohio RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience with IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheter management, and EPIC system
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, preferably Cardiac ICU
• Ability to work a night shift schedule, including weekends and holidays
