Crafts & Vines in Covington, KY is looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Bartender to take the helm behind the bar! This is your chance to showcase your craft, lead a talented team, and create unforgettable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging, attentive customer service
- Serve wine, beer, and specialty beverages with accuracy and skill
- Lead, train, and mentor bar staff to uphold service standards and best practices
- Develop and update cocktail menus, seasonal drinks, and featured specials
- Monitor bar inventory, and manage stock levels to minimize waste
- Ensure bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation accurately
- Set weekly schedules for staff on our online scheduling platform
- 2+ years of bartending experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of wine, craft beer, spirits and classic/modern cocktail techniques
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends
- Must meet Kentucky state age requirements for serving alcohol
- Wage is hourly plus tips, averaging $37-$45 an hour
