The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in criminal prosecution and a deep understanding of civilian warrant applications. This role is perfect for a former prosecutor who is ready to transition into civil litigation and leverage their skills in a new context.Job Responsibilities:Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, contract disputes, property disputes, and professional liability.Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.Courtroom Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations. Present compelling arguments, examine witnesses, and negotiate settlements.Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.Client Consultation: Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations and provide strategic guidance to achieve the best possible outcomes.Warrant Applications: Utilize your expertise in civilian warrant applications to provide insight and guidance on relevant matters.Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive legal representation and client satisfaction.Continuing Education: Stay current with developments in civil litigation, criminal law, and warrant applications through ongoing professional development and training.Job Requirements (Including Education):J.D. from an accredited law school.Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.Minimum of 5 years in criminal prosecution with substantial experience in civilian warrant applications.
