This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, partnering across departments, and contributing to efficient billing and receivables processes.Key Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable/Billing AssistantAs an Accounts Receivable/Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:Preparing, processing, and maintaining accurate billing records, invoices, and supporting financial documentationEnsuring accuracy of billing rates, project details, and client information prior to invoicingPartnering with project managers and internal teams to gather billing information and ensure all billable work is capturedEntering billing and accounts receivable data into financial systems in compliance with company policiesMonitoring customer accounts, tracking payment activity, and following up on outstanding balancesResponding to client inquiries regarding invoices and billing discrepancies in a timely and professional mannerCommunicating effectively with internal teams and external clients to resolve billing and payment issuesMaintaining organized, up-to-date client files and billing documentationAssisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual billing and receivables reportingSupporting general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and document organizationPreferred Experience & Skills – Accounts Receivable/Billing AssistantThe ideal Accounts Receivable/Billing Assistant will bring the following experience and skills:1–5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related accounting roleSolid understanding of billing and accounts receivable processesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is a plusStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma requiredAssociate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred (or equivalent relevant experience)
