Job Overview A law firm seeks a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney to join their office in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves managing pre-litigation work, guiding clients through the case process, and overseeing settlement negotiations. The attorney will focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive, and manage a team of case managers. Responsibilities Handle all pre-litigation work daily Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process Guide clients through the case process Draft and file pre-litigation documents Complete TD approval for liability issues Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation Manage the release approval process Supervise a team of 6-10 Case Managers Drive compliance and KPIs among the team Conduct EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school Active member in good standing with the MI State Bar Association 1+ years of experience in general liability or personal injury Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases Excellent client service and communication skills Strong leadership skills Self-starter driven by long-term career goals Superior writing and oral advocacy skills Education Law degree from an accredited institution Certifications Active membership with the MI State Bar Association Skills Client service and communication Leadership and team management Writing and oral advocacy Pre-litigation case management Benefits Medical and dental insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
