Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Favorite Healthcare Program - University of Kansas.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 1 year recent telemetry experience. Must have some experience with TR Bands straight from procedure, cardiac drips (Olathe mainly does Heparin, some Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem), and the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 2-5 years of telemetry experience preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - On-call: none. - Holidays based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to all acute care units.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
