Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Schedule
12-hour Night shifts; 1900-0730; 3 days per week

Assignment Details

Requirements
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience
- Skills: Experience with TR Band's straight from procedure, experience with cardiac drips including heparin, butamol, lasix, and cardizem, experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
- EMR: Familiarity with EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans.
- Document all care and patient interactions accurately in the patient's medical record.
- Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation includes the first two days at the main campus.
- Pre-employment background checks and credentialing required.
- Facility operates a nicotine-free environment.
