About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational structure and driving the expansion into new retail markets, both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the C-Level team to ensure accountability in key processes, overseeing the supply chain, and managing all aspects of COGS, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory. A key focus will be on developing a robust retail operations network and assisting in the creation of an international network from a branding, operational, and financial standpoint. The COO will also be instrumental in developing and implementing the overall company strategy, coaching and mentoring the team, and must have a proven track record in leading high-performance teams. The ideal COO for the company will have a background that includes at least 5 years' in an operations leadership role, with a strong history of success in managing a company with significant sales and a sizable workforce. Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or manufacturing is essential, as is the ability to adapt to the fast-paced environment of a growing business. While not mandatory, a relationship with a large retail distributor and knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) are considered advantageous. The candidate should be adept at strategic planning, KPI processes, and have a clear understanding of when to delegate and when to take a hands-on approach to ensure the job is done.
