Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on spinal, neurological, and trauma surgical cases
• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients presenting with complex diagnoses including gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
• Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition throughout the night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing specialty
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Current BLS/ACLS certification card required
• Ability to provide a complete work history or resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Must be able to provide professional references

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for spinal, neurological, or trauma surgical patient populations
• Familiarity with care of patients with quadriplegia or paraplegia
• Completed Medical/Surgical nursing skills checklist on file
