Work Environment\n

As a remote team member, you will work from the comfort of your home while staying connected with colleagues through various communication platforms. The regular work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a structured framework while enabling a harmonious work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify specific emotional, psychological, and social needs.

• Provide both individual and group counseling tailored to address the emotional challenges associated with aging, such as grief, anxiety, and chronic illness.

• Develop and collaborate on comprehensive care plans in coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring individualized treatment strategies.

• Educate staff and family members on effective communication techniques and coping strategies to support the emotional well-being of our clients.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, guiding them through the complexities of end-of-life issues.

• Implement cognitive stimulation programs and evidence-based mental health interventions aimed at promoting mental acuity in seniors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with elderly individuals facing significant life transitions, including those coping with loss, adjustment difficulties, and the emotional aspects of aging. Our clients are diverse, representing a variety of backgrounds, and as such, the counselor must approach each case with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability to their unique psychological needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on geriatric care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members. Benefits include:
