Finish Assistant

Finish Assistant Plays an important role in the final stage of production by ensuring finished bags and pouches meet quality standards and are properly packed and prepared for shipment. This role supports press and finishing operations by performing quality checks, packaging finished product, assisting operators, and helping maintain a safe and organized production environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing setting. What You Will Do Perform quality checks on finished materials during production Pack completed bags and pouches into shipping boxes Assemble boxes for finished product packaging Apply informational and identification labels to boxes for shipment Move finished materials to the packing area Assist operators and production team members as needed Fill hot melt units when required Assist as part of the pit crew during press changeovers Perform basic QC testing on materials Troubleshoot minor production or packaging issues when possible Remove trash and maintain a clean, organized work area Follow plant safety procedures Report safety concerns, accidents, or equipment issues to supervisors Support food safety and quality standards by reporting any concerns immediately What We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic computer skills Ability to work in a team oriented production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow safety procedures and production instructions Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in equipment changeovers Physical Requirements Repetitive standing, walking, bending, squatting, and stooping Ability to lift materials weighing 50 pounds or more Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment Equal Opportunity Statement Fres-co System USA, Inc. is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where employees are respected and supported.
