Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Tele Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years in a comparable acuity hospital License: Must have an active unencumbered RN license in Tennessee or multi-state Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Cerner EMR experience Description: This position requires working as an Acute Care Float nurse. The assignment will be determined by the nursing supervisor at the time staffing assignments are made. The shift will run from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break. Patient ratios may vary according to need, but are typically 1:6. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital. First-time travelers will be considered for this position. Every other weekend availability is required. This position does not require on-call duty. The candidate must have Cerner EMR experience. The nurse will float to different units as needed. Time-off requests and special requirements must be adhered to. Compliance with uniform standards is expected. References are required, which can be pending at the time of submission. Candidates must possess a valid license before submission.
