Staff Accountant - CPA Firm

Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting for multiple clients Provide QuickBooks consulting and advisory support (Desktop & Online) Conduct general ledger review, analysis, and clean-up Prepare and review bank and credit card reconciliations Record adjusting journal entries and manage the month-end close process Process and oversee payroll activities Prepare sales tax filings Assist with tangible personal property tax returns Prepare financial statements, including compiled and management reports Serve in a client-facing advisory role, offering guidance to improve accounting processes, controls, and overall financial operations Requirements QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus 3+ years of hands‑on bookkeeping or accounting experience CPA firm experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of financial statements and how they integrate Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) required Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience working with multiple clients or industries preferred Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Self‑starter with a strong sense of initiative Quick learner with a positive attitude Strong desire to grow and exceed expectations The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
