Number of Beds: 26

Patient Ratios: 1:4

Unit Staffing Description: Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, Unit Secretary

Type of Equipment: Pacemakers

Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling, with three weekend shifts in a four-week period for day shift and four weekend shifts for night shift.

Floating Policy: Float to Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Observation Services.

Requested Skill Set:

Must Have: Telemetry experience

Advanced Skills Needed: Experience managing cardiac patients post-procedure

Procedures Performed on Unit: Titration of IV medications (cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.)

Certifications Required: None

Required uniform is scrubs (Royal blue top, black pants).

This is a brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
