ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires critical care experience and strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 25
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Staffing Description: Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary available from 7 AM to 11 PM; no Technicians.
• Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation System: MediTech
• Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling with every third weekend required
• Floating Policy: Travel/Agency staff are the first to float; can only float to telemetry to take patients, or serve as a helper/resource in other areas.
• Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET methodology for effective patient interaction

Qualifications

• Experience: Must have critical care experience
• Skills: Strong communication skills and adaptability to change
• Advanced Skills: Neuro and trauma experience is a plus
• Procedures Performed on Unit: Open heart recovery, cardioversions, bronchoscopies, CRRT, Impella management
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

Dress Code

Required uniform: Scrubs in Royal Blue.
