Job Title: Production Clean Room Assembler

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and packaging small-part medical devices in a clean room environment while consistently meeting production targets and strict quality standards. You will work with IV bag tubing and related components, perform detailed inspections, and maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small-part medical devices, including tubes used in IV bags, according to production orders and established procedures.

• Inspect parts at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality specifications and are free from defects or contamination.

• Perform packing and labeling of finished products, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.

• Conduct quality control checks and complete all required batch control and inspection paperwork accurately and on time.

• Make minor repairs and adjustments to tooling and equipment to maintain proper product quality and consistent output.

• Operate production equipment and tools that require close control and precise adjustment, following detailed work instructions.

• Achieve target production levels while maintaining high standards of product quality and cleanliness in the work area.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements at all times.

• Learn, comprehend, and implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures to ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

• Work safely with and around moving equipment, recognizing and mitigating potential hazards.

• Maintain an organized, clean room environment to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other shifts, engineering, quality, and leadership to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Adapt to different production lines and responsibilities as needed, supporting changing operational demands.

• Remain highly aware of the clean room environment and follow all contamination-control requirements, including footwear and gowning protocols.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience, including exposure to production, assembly, or related operations.

• Ability to use measurements and perform basic math to support quality checks and equipment adjustments.

• Experience in assembly, packing, production, or similar roles in a regulated or quality-focused environment.

• Familiarity with inspection and quality control practices, including documenting results and completing batch paperwork.

• Capability to learn and implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and other safety protocols for equipment operation.

• Comfort working with and around moving equipment while following established safety guidelines.

• Ability to operate equipment and tools requiring close control, fine adjustments, and adherence to production orders.

• Strong attention to detail and awareness of contamination risks in a clean room environment.

• Willingness to work overtime, including extended shifts of up to 12 hours when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an assembler, machine operator, picker, or quality inspector in a production setting.

• Ability to work with limited supervision while maintaining high quality and productivity.

• Flexibility to rotate across different lines and tasks based on production needs.

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to cooperate effectively with other shifts, engineering, quality, and leadership.

• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with strict cleanliness and documentation requirements.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean room environment within a clean, organized warehouse setting. Team members work Monday through Friday on either first shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) or second shift (2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.), with frequent overtime and some days extending to 12-hour shifts. The workplace is highly team-oriented, and you will collaborate closely with other shifts, engineering, quality, and leadership. You must be able to work with limited supervision and adapt quickly to different production lines and responsibilities. The clean room environment requires strict adherence to contamination-control procedures, including wearing a gown, pants, and a dedicated brand-new pair of shoes that remain on-site at all times. You will work safely with and around moving equipment, operating tools and machinery that require careful control and adjustment while consistently meeting safety, quality, and production standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Oxford, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
