The Cafe Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to members and guests at the golf course halfway house. This position ensures the facility is clean, properly stocked, and ready for service while maintaining the club's standards for hospitality and member satisfaction. And Monitors Breakfast Caf and all other areas associated with the Food & Beverage. Sets all rooms so members and guests receive the amenities Mizner provides in a professional and timely manner. Ensure members follow all departmental policies and procedures. Assists in maintaining equipment such as coffee, soda, soft serve machines, and snack dispensers.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
• Provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service.
• Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and other menu items according to established standards.
• Accurately enter and process food and beverage orders and member charges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented service area always.
• Stock beverages, food items, condiments, paper products, and other necessary supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Ensure all equipment and service stations are properly set up before opening and maintained throughout the shift.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of counters, tables, floors, coolers, and surrounding areas.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing equipment and properly storing products.
• Monitor product freshness and remove expired or compromised items.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow the club's dress and grooming standards.
• Respond to member requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Communicate operational issues, equipment problems, and member feedback to the appropriate manager.
• Take and prepare food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve snacks, grab-and-go items, beverages, and other menu offerings
• Work closely with the Culinary and Food & Beverage departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Reasoning ability includes the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical demands include the need to walk around the room periodically to check on the Member's needs, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

The work environment is usually moderate in noise level.

Qualifications include the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of service and organization. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on golf activity and club operations.
