About the Position

Job Title: Level 3 RN ICU Nights Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU License: Current Licensure to practice in Client Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, Moderate Sedation Must-Have: - Recent emergency department experience - Recent critical care experience Description: Uses the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care. Collects data relevant to the patient’s condition and reports critical values to the physician in a timely manner. Assesses appropriate lab and diagnostic data. Documents findings of physical assessment and is able to identify abnormal findings. Develops a plan of care based on patient needs. Advocates on behalf of the patient and their family. Performs interventions according to patient needs and hospital policy. Evaluates patient outcomes in relation to goals. Adheres to all safety guidelines and exercises utmost care when interacting with patients. Demonstrates a professional demeanor in interactions with patients, families, peers, and staff, and maintains open communication. Other duties may be assigned by management. Willing to float to designated units as required.
