Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift) in Cleveland, Ohio.Cleveland, OHThis is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, from 19:00 to 07:00.Job DescriptionThe Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care by delivering intensive respiratory treatments and facilitating patient transport. They evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans, explaining the purpose and procedures of treatments and tests to the patients while offering necessary education upon discharge.ResponsibilitiesConduct physician-prescribed respiratory treatments using various ventilatory equipment and aerosol devices.Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning through multiple methods as required.Monitor patients with oximetry and capnography.Review chest x-rays and perform pulmonary function studies per policy.Assist in procedures related to respiratory care, including bronchoscopy and tracheostomy care.Perform arterial punctures and monitor and document test results accurately.Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient therapy efficiency.Record and maintain accurate treatment data in patient charts.Facilitate preventive maintenance and repair of respiratory equipment as necessary.Required ExperienceExperience in delivering respiratory therapy in a clinical setting is required.Certifications/LicensureMust hold a state license as a Respiratory Therapist and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
