Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Manager to join our team in Muskegon, MI, 46444. In this role, you will oversee the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for logistics and a knack for managing teams, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
Develop and implement shipping and receiving procedures to improve efficiency.
Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Monitor and report on shipping and receiving metrics.
Resolve any issues related to shipping discrepancies or damaged goods.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in shipping and receiving management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma required; a degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
Shipping experience in the auotmative indusrty is a pig plus.
