Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a growing home health team serving the Central Coast region of California. This role focuses primarily on providing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatment to geriatric patients in their homes.
Location: Central Coast, California
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Monday-Friday preferred
- Flexible 4-day work week available (32-40 hours)
Patient Population:
- Geriatric patients
- Post-stroke (CVA) patients
- Dysphagia and aspiration-risk patients
- Dementia and cognitive impairment cases
- Head trauma patients
- Occasional hospice patients
Responsibilities:
- Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct bedside swallowing assessments
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP License
- Home Health experience preferred
- Experience with geriatric and neurological patients is a plus
- New graduates may be considered
Compensation:
Competitive pay-per-visit model based on experience and qualifications.
