• $110,000 - $160,000 per year (based on experience)

Schedule

• Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-site role
• Overtime as needed to support operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement .

This role is responsible for building and developing a strong operations team, implementing effective processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in high-volume manufacturing who can deliver results through people, systems, and disciplined execution.

What You'll Own

Operations Leadership & Execution

• Direct and oversee all daily manufacturing operations
• Ensure production targets are met for:
  • output
  • quality
  • on-time delivery
• Lead labor planning, production scheduling, and material coordination
• Establish and maintain operational standards across the plant

Team Development & Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop the operations leadership team
• Drive a culture of:
  • accountability
  • teamwork
  • ownership
• Oversee training, onboarding, and employee development programs
• Manage employee performance, scheduling, and attendance

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

• Implement and drive Lean Manufacturing practices across operations
• Lead initiatives focused on:
  • waste reduction
  • efficiency improvements
  • process optimization
• Support and drive 5S and workplace organization initiatives

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all production meets:
  • customer specifications
  • internal quality standards
• Lead and support safety initiatives including:
  • training
  • incident investigation
  • compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
• Maintain compliance with:
  • state and federal regulations
  • environmental programs (wastewater, chemical handling, etc.)

Strategic Planning & Budget Management

• Develop and execute short-term (6-12 month) and long-term (1-2 year) operational plans
• Manage and monitor the operations budget
• Drive cost control, waste reduction, and overall operational efficiency
• Support business growth through scalable operational strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with:

  • supply chain
  • HR
• Lead problem-solving efforts to improve processes and relationships
• Ensure alignment across departments to meet business goals

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Engineering
  • Operations Management
  • Business Administration
    (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing
• Strong experience in:
  • high-volume production environments
  • team leadership and development
• Proven ability to drive results through people and processes
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
• Experience working in a union environment
• Strong background in:
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Kaizen
  • process improvement initiatives
• Experience with:
  • materials management
  • production scheduling
  • freight and distribution
• Proven experience leading 50+ employees in a high-volume manufacturing environment strongly preferred

• PPE required when on the shop floor
