Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and scrub personnel to maintain a safe, sterile environment
- Assess patient status, monitor anesthesia-related parameters, and respond to intraoperative changes promptly
- Perform positioning, instrumentation handling, and equipment setup to support surgical procedures
- Complete accurate documentation of care, contribute to handoffs to the postoperative team, and support family communication as needed
- Adhere to professional practice standards, patient safety policies, and ethical guidelines in all perioperative activities

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia (or current Georgia RN licensure in good standing)
- OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred; strong willingness to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts in a hospital OR setting
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and eligibility to practice as a RN in Georgia
- Effective communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to meet credentialing and health compliance requirements for perioperative practice
